Whether you prefer the quiet life of the lodge or are prepared to join more active pursuits such as trekking, bicycling, or horseback riding trips in the local area - Topas Eco Lodge has something for you. Topas Eco Lodge is the only one of its kind in Vietnam. Eco Loge would like offering accommodation to individuals as well as to larger groups of family’s friends or colleagues.

Topas Eco Lodge's location:
Located on the hill top of overlooking down to marvelous valley of Ho, The Topas Eco lodge is about 12 km from Sapa center. Topas Eco Lodge provides daily transportation according to schedule from Sapa to the Eco Lodge. Even though the road is under constructing some parts are still dirt road if so it would takes about more than an hour to go from Sapa to the Eco lodge. Despite the fact that some parts are dirt road, it is interesting journey. On the way you will see daily life in the rice fields, minorities on there way to Sapa to sell handcrafts, vegetables etc.

From Hanoi:
Trains run daily from Hanoi, Tulico, and Ratraco, as well as Victoria trains, which travel to the mountainous town of Lao Cai. From here, it takes an hour to drive to Sapa, the town nearest to Topas Ecolodge.
These trains run day and night. The night trains provide a very good standard of soft sleeper berths - you can depart from Hanoi at 22:00 and arrive in Lao Cai next morning at 06:00. There are many other departure and arrival options. All transport can be arranged by Topas Eco Lodge.

The Topas Eco Lodge Sapa consists of 25 individual lodges placed in a circle around the hills. From the lodge there are breathtaking views across the scenic valleys below, which are home to villages of the Tay and Red Dao minorities. The lodges are made of white granite from a nearby quarry and the roofs are made from palm branches. All the lodges are double or twin rooms. All are equipped with toilet and shower facilities, and every lodge has a porch from where you can view the valley or enjoy the sunset.

Topas Ecolodge Sa Pa's Walking
For easy walking duration approximately 2-3 hours, that would be enough time to visit the nearby Red Dao village of Thanh Kim and the local school, black smith and observe the local ethnic people doing their own traditional cultivating.

For the more adventurous guests, our quality mountain bikes are available. The mountain hills and trails are well suited for biking. But remember - down hill is fun, up hill is tough. Mountain bike tours will be arranged in groups and in two levels. Easy level tours last 2-3 hours and will bring you to local villages where you will learn about local handicraft, agriculture and social systems. Hard level tours last 6-8 hours and will bring you deep into the Hoang Lien valley.
