Detail Itinerary

Day 1: (THU) Hanoi - Night train to Lao Cai
Our tour will be started at 20:45 at the lobby of the hotel. We will be met by our guide and transferred to the Hanoi Railway station for the overnight train to Lao Cai.

Day 2: (FRI) Sa Pa - Lao Chai - Ta Van
Up on arrival in Lao Cai Railway station early in the morning, we will be met by a local guide who will escort us to Sapa town. After checking in hotel, we enjoy our breakfast at the hotel restaurant and relax. Our tour will be started after that. We will embark on a lovely trek that will take us along buffalo paths and trails and though several hill tribe villages, Lao Cai and Ta Van, home of the black H’mong and Dzay ethnic minority people. This is an absolutely spectacular walk through stunning scenery inhabited by some of the friendliest people we can meet. Once on the valley floor we can really appreciate the wonderful scenery that surrounds us. The walls of the valley are covered with multi-layered rice terraced fields and scattered villages. Return to Sa Pa by our waiting vehicle. Trekking distance 10 km.

Day 3: (SAT) Can Cau Saturday market - Lao Cai - Hanoi
We have our breakfast at the hotel and then check out hotel’s procedure. Farewell Sa Pa we travel east towards china border, where is Can Cau market’s location, about 120km from Sa Pa. It takes us more than 2 hours to get there. This is a colorful market situated in a small village in the mountainous area. Here we will meet several different minority groups but mainly the Flower H’mong people. They join the market to buy and sell clothes, vegetables, meet and cattle. At noon time we drive to Bac Ha for our lunch at a local restaurant then we have short trek to Ban Pho village (Flower H’Mong’s home). After that we head back to Lao Cai Railway station for our night train to Hanoi.

Day 4: (SUN) Hanoi
Up on arrival in Hanoi very early morning, we transfer back to our hotel.

Meals

If you have any special requirements for food (vegetarian, vegan, food allergies) please kindly inform us in advance so that we can server you better. Our meals always listed as specified in the tour itinerary.

Breakfast - Breakfast is usually at the hotel and it would be a western style buffet or continental breakfast. We try to ensure that a choice of western and Vietnamese breakfasts are supplied, however there may be only Vietnamese breakfast is prepared in some remote places.

Lunches - Lunches are normally arranged at the Vietnamese restaurants near the scenic spots. Your tour guides will order food according to your appetite. Most are Vietnamese dishes, and some are modified to fit westerners' tastes. Drinks are normally not included in the meal.

Dinner - Same as lunch. If you prefer to not eat Vietnamese, Viet Vision Travel suggests you have dinner on your own. Your local tour guide can recommend some good western restaurants in the area.

Train: Ratraco train - 4 soft sleeper berth cabin

The hotel & train subject to change due to the availabilities, in that case we will choose the equivalent one.
If tour start in Hanoi in Friday night, following day morning will go to visit Can Cau market first then return to Sa Pa
