Detail Itinerary

Within only one-day tour out of Hoi An you will collect overview about this land from ancient time to tragically part of modern history of Vietnam. All of them will be exposed by visiting Heritage sites of My Son Holy Land which is date back more than a thousand of years and the American war’s remnants of My Lai’s massacre. This site was built in memory of the civilians who were killed during the American War. It is located on the land where the American troops cruelly massacred the local people on the morning of 16 March 1968.

Our tour departures from hotel at 07:00 AM, at around 2,5 hour driving we reach to My Lai massacre. We spend an hour there to see the complex of Massacre with Monument. The House of Evidence where documents, photos, and objects which testify to the massacre such as shirts, a pair of sandal of a killed child, all kinds of cups and plates, cookers and pans holed by cartridge, and wooden bells used for reciting prayers. All of them stir deep feelings in the visitors.

After that we drive to My Tra riverbank of Quang Ngai city for our lunch in the local restaurant. In the afternoon we visit Holly Temple city of My Son, which date back more than a thousand years ago, afterward we are heading back to Hoi An. Tour ends at around 06:00PM.

Breakfast - Breakfast is usually at the hotel and it would be a western style buffet or continental breakfast. We try to ensure that a choice of western and Vietnamese breakfasts are supplied, however there may be only Vietnamese breakfast is prepared in some remote places.

Lunches - Lunches are normally arranged at the Vietnamese restaurants near the scenic spots. Your tour guides will order food according to your appetite. Most are Vietnamese dishes, and some are modified to fit westerners' tastes. Drinks are normally not included in the meal.

Dinner - Same as lunch. If you prefer to not eat Vietnamese, Viet Vision Travel suggests you have dinner on your own. Your local tour guide can recommend some good western restaurants in the area.
