Day 1: Arrival Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City)

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport, you will be welcome by a guide from Viet Vision Travel and transferred to our hotel in the center of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Once there we will be at our leisure and have time to relax. In the evening we will dine on wonderful Vietnamese cuisine at a fine restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). We will then spend the night at the hotel

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta Day trip
Accommodations: Park Hyatt Hotel Saigon
Sites visited: Mekong waterway, garden workshops, village
In The morning we leave Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) behind and head to Vietnam's rice basket, the Mekong Delta. We will pass through idyllic, rural scenes until we arrive at My Tho, a peaceful town on the bank of the Mekong River, where we will visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda. Next we will have a boat ride on the Mekong, visit local homes and orchards, a coconut candy workshop, a honeybee farm, take a sampan ride on palm-shaded creeks, try a taste of seasonal fruit and honey tea and enjoy a performance of traditional Southern singing. We return to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) about 6pm

Day 3: Saigon City - Cu Chi tunnel

Sites visited: Notre Dame Cathedral, General Post Office, Formal Presidential Palace, Museum of War Remnants and Cu Chi tunnel
Today we have full day to explore the highlights of Saigon including Notre Dame Cathedral, the General Post Office, the Formal Presidential Palace and the Museum of War Remnants. After lunch we will head to the legendary Cu Chi tunnel. We will stay overnight at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon).

Day 4: Saigon - Da Nang - Hoian
Transfer via: Vietnam Airline

Sites visited: Cham Museum, Marble Mountain, My Khe Beach, Hoi An Ancient Town
We take the morning flight to Da Nang then visit the Cham Museum in Da Nang, where there is a display of fine artifacts of the Cham people. We then visit "My Khe beach" and a marble crafting village. Later we will explore the charming little township of Hoi An with its old houses and temples. We will stay overnight at a hotel in Hoi An

Day 5: Hoi An
Accommodations: Palm Garden Resort
In the morning we can enjoy the walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the Old town, visit Fu Kien assembly hall, the 200 year old Tan Ky house, the Japanese cover bridge, Hoi An Museum, and the handcraft workshops.

Day 6: Hoi An – Hue – City in the afternoon
Accommodations: La Resident De Hue Hotel Sites visited: Hai Van Pass, Forbidden Purple City and Dong Ba market We embark on a Northern bound journey to Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam. On the way we stop on the spectacular Hai Van Pass. The journey takes about 5 hours. In the afternoon we will have our first glimpse of Hue to visit the Forbidden Purple City and Dong Ba market. Tonight we will join the Traditional Music show in the boat on the Perfume River. Overnight stay at a hotel in Hue

Day 7: Hue – Boat trip along Perfume River
Accommodations: La Resident De Hue Hotel Sites visited: Perfume River, Thien Mu Pagoda, Minh Mang tomb Today we will take a boat cruise on the Perfume River to visit the picturesque Thien Mu, or Heavenly Lady Pagoda. Also worth visiting are the tombs of the former Emperors Minh Mang. We will be free to enjoy our leisure in the afternoon.

Day 8: Hue - Hanoi
Transfer via: Vietnam airline Accommodations: Intercontinental Hotel Hanoi In the morning we will take a flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival in Hanoi you will be transfer to our hotel. In the afternoon we will take a cyclo tour to visit Hanoi’s Old Quarter & French Quarter and In the evening we can enjoy the unique Water puppet show.

Day 9: Hanoi City tour
Sites visited: Ho Chi Minh Complex, Temple of literature, Museum of Ethnology and Hanoi’s Old Quarter Accommodations: Intercontinental Hotel Hanoi In the morning we will be transferred to our hotel. We take the City tour after that to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum which includes is Mausoleum, the Presidential palace, is House on stilts and the One Pillar pagoda. Then we visit the Temple of literature. After lunch we visit the impressive Museum of Ethnology, the finest museum in Vietnam. We follow this with a walking tour of Hanoi's vibrant Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake. We will stay overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

Day 10: Hanoi - Ha Long bay
Accommodations: Bhaya Luxury Junk Cruise
Sites visited: Halong Bay, Fishing Village
In the morning we will depart Hanoi by van for Halong bay (World Heritage site). Arrive at Halong about noon time. We are welcome on board of Bhaya Cruise and set sail through bay while lunch is served. We will passage Hong Gai town into the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’ teeth. After lunch, take our tender to visit the Fishing village. Then we can go swimming on a quite beach or sunbathing on the sundeck. Later afternoon, visit an interesting fishing village with opportunity to interact with fish men who have been living in the bay for almost three generations. At sunset time, kayak or simply take a bamboo rowboat to discover a water tunnel with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Back on board Bhaya, enjoy cocktails while watching sunset and later unwind at Bhaya Sun desk for a Vietnamese cooking demonstration. Dinner will be server on Bhaya Restaurant.

Day 11: Ha Long Bay - Hanoi
Accommodation: Intercontinental Hotel Hanoi
Sites Visited: Lime stone caves in Halong Bay
Greeting the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay, we will visit beautiful limestone grotto, then back to the boat to have buffet brunch while having a final glimpse of the Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock for our return back to Hanoi.

Day 12: Hanoi departure

Breakfast - Breakfast is usually at the hotel and it would be a western style buffet or continental breakfast. We try to ensure that a choice of western and Vietnamese breakfasts are supplied, however there may be only Vietnamese breakfast is prepared in some remote places.
Lunches - Lunches are normally arranged at the Vietnamese restaurants near the scenic spots. Your tour guides will order food according to your appetite. Most are Vietnamese dishes, and some are modified to fit westerners' tastes. Drinks are normally not included in the meal.
Dinner - Same as lunch. If you prefer to not eat Vietnamese, Viet Vision Travel suggests you have dinner on your own. Your local tour guide can recommend some good western restaurants in the area.
