This family trip concentrates on Vietnam's diverse and fascinating cultural heritage and food. From Da Nang you make your way to Hoi An via the Marble Mountains. The picturesque town of Hoi An was once one of South-East Asia's major trading ports and you have 3 days to explore this charming fishing town with its narrow streets, ancient family homes and Chinese Assembly Halls. Detail Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh - Fly to Da Nang
Our vehicle will transfer us to the local airport for the short flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival in Da Nang, we will be met and taken to the hotel in Da Nang. Here, we can relax at the “China beach”.

Day 2: Da Nang - Transfer to Hoi An
This morning, we check out of our hotel and transfer to Hoi An. On the way we will visit Da Nang city with the Cham Museum, which houses the most complete collection of Cham Artifacts anywhere in the world. There is a walking tour with our guide in the afternoon around the ancient town of Hoi An

Day 3: Hoi An - Cooking class
Our tour can start at 08:15 AM or at 01:30 PM. We will meet at the lobby of the hotel from where we can walk to Scout Cafe to have a refreshing drink. We then visit Hoi An’s colorful market and experience the amazing sights, sounds and aromas of this busy place. We will have the opportunity to interact with local sellers while purchasing some of the ingredients which will be used in the upcoming cookery lesson. Afterwards, we will board the Red Bridge boat for a leisurely cruise, of about 25 minutes, along Thu Bon River to the Cookery School. This will give us a chance to view local river life, so make sure our camera is in hand. Upon arrival, we will explore the cookery school’s herb and vegetable garden before learning about some of Hoi An’s as well as Vietnam’s more well-known dishes. The cookery lesson runs for about 2 hours, each dish is first demonstrated by the Red Bridge’s Chef before we prepare the dish ourselves. Included in the class is a brief introduction to Vietnamese food carving (plate decoration). After the lesson we can then enjoy our culinary creations.

Day 4: Hoi An - Relaxing day
Today we are free and at our leisure to either go for shopping or to the beach, etc.

Day 5: Da Nang - Fly to Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi
We will transfer to Da Nang airport to take a flight to either Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City. Trip concludes.

Da Nang is Vietnam's fourth-largest city, it is a pleasant enough place to stop off.

Hoi An is a small town in Central Vietnam on the coast of South China Sea.

Meals

If you have any special requirements for food (vegetarian, vegan, food allergies) please kindly inform us in advance so that we can server you better. Our meals always listed as specified in the tour itinerary.

Breakfast - Breakfast is usually at the hotel and it would be a western style buffet or continental breakfast. We try to ensure that a choice of western and Vietnamese breakfasts are supplied, however there may be only Vietnamese breakfast is prepared in some remote places.

Lunches - Lunches are normally arranged at the Vietnamese restaurants near the scenic spots. Your tour guides will order food according to your appetite. Most are Vietnamese dishes, and some are modified to fit westerners' tastes. Drinks are normally not included in the meal.

Dinner - Same as lunch. If you prefer to not eat Vietnamese, Viet Vision Travel suggests you have dinner on your own. Your local tour guide can recommend some good western restaurants in the area.
