Detail Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi - Mai Chau
You will depart from Hanoi for Mai Chau Valley, home of the Thai, Muong and H'mong ethnic minority people. Tonight we will be hosted by the local Thai ethnic people.
Today Lunch & Dinner included.

Day 2: Mai Chau - Moc Chau Plateau - Son La
We will drive 38km from Mai Chau to Sa Linh for a 2hrs trek through the hamlets of the H'Mong Ethnic people, then we will continue to Moc Chau plateau for lunch. Overnight in Son La.
Today Breakfast included.

Day 3: Son La - Dien Bien Phu
We will visit a former French prison before leaving Son La for Dien Bien Phu. En route we will take a break at the ethnic market of Thuan Chau before climbing over the Pha Din pass. Overnight at Dien Bien Phu basin.

Day 4: Dien Bien Phu - Muong Lay
Departing go to Muong Lay, we will have opportunity watching the beautiful scenery on the road, find out about some customary practices people here. Continue to visit Muong Lay town is located in the northern province of Lai Chau. Over night at Hotel Lan Anh 1.

Mai Chau is located in Hoa Binh province, approximately 135 km from Hanoi and 60 km from Hoa Binh.

Moc Chau Plateau is an ideal place to breed milk cow, plant tea and fruit. The weather is cold, dry in winter and hot in summer.

Day 5: Dien Bien Phu - Boat trip on Da river
Today our journey will be going along the Da river, the driver boat will take us around long vertical line, we can feel the features of the river & feeling the atmosphere of very well, beside that we can to look with great scenery, Song Da also offers a wild beauty & picturesque. In the afternoon, we are continuing journey to go to Sin Ho. Sin Ho district is located in the middle of Lai Chau province, the northern border Yunnan - China, explore the unique place of the people here, over night at Thai Binh hotel.

Day 6: Sin Ho - Lai Chau - Sa Pa
During the day we will be traveling for a total of 7 hours, but the sights and sounds of this region of Vietnam are truly unforgettable. With incredible views and stunning scenery we will journey through one of the most spectacular stretches of road in Vietnam. We will arrive in Sa Pa during late afternoon. Overnight in Sa Pa.

Day 7: Sa Pa home stay
This morning we will go for a trek before our overnight home stay with the Ziay ethnic minority people.

Day 8: Sapa - Lao Cai - Overnight train to Hanoi
Return to Sa Pa for lunch with a short time for exploring the town before departure for Lao Cai for overnight train to Hanoi.

Meals

If you have any special requirements for food (vegetarian, vegan, food allergies) please kindly inform us in advance so that we can server you better. Our meals always listed as specified in the tour itinerary.

Breakfast - Breakfast is usually at the hotel and it would be a western style buffet or continental breakfast. We try to ensure that a choice of western and Vietnamese breakfasts are supplied, however there may be only Vietnamese breakfast is prepared in some remote places.

Lunches - Lunches are normally arranged at the Vietnamese restaurants near the scenic spots. Your tour guides will order food according to your appetite. Most are Vietnamese dishes, and some are modified to fit westerners' tastes. Drinks are normally not included in the meal.

Dinner - Same as lunch. If you prefer to not eat Vietnamese, Viet Vision Travel suggests you have dinner on your own. Your local tour guide can recommend some good western restaurants in the area.
