Bokor National Park occupies the southern most peak of the Elephant Mountains in the vicinity of the Cambodia Vietnam border. The plot of land on the Elephant Mountains was acquired for the park in the year 1916. Later in 1960's, the French Protectorate and Prince Norodom Sihanouk designed that picturesque plot of land as an altitude resort.

Bokor National Park was set up in the year 1933. It stretches over four provinces in the Kingdom of Cambodia. Since its inception, the greenery in and around the Bokor National Park has faced fairly large amount of illegal logging. In spite of that the Bokor National Park continues to be a paradise for numerous elephants and some rare species of tiger.

The Bokor National Park offers enough to explore. If you are a wildlife enthusiast, Bokor National Park is a must see place for you.
