Day 1: Arrival Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) (D)
Transfer via: International Flight on our own arrangement
Accommodations: Caravelle Saigon Hotel
Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport, you will be welcome by a guide from Viet Vision Travel and transferred to our hotel in the center of Saigon. Once there we will be at our leisure and have time to relax. In the evening we will dine on wonderful Vietnamese cuisine at a fine restaurant in Saigon. We will then spend the night at the hotel
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta Day trip (B, L)
Accommodations: Caravelle Saigon Hotel
Sites visited: Mekong waterway, garden, workshops, villages
In The morning we leave Saigon behind and head to Vietnam’s rice basket, the Mekong Delta. We will pass through idyllic, rural scenes until we arrive at My Tho, a peaceful town on the bank of the Mekong River, where we will visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda.
Next we will have a boat ride on the Mekong, visit local homes and orchards, a coconut candy workshop, a honeybee farm, take a sampan ride on palm-shaded creeks, try a taste of seasonal fruit and honey tea and enjoy a performance of traditional Southern singing. We return to Saigon about 6pm.
Day 3: Saigon City – Cu Chi tunnel (B, L)

Sites visited: Notre Dame Cathedral, General Post Office, Formal Presidential Palace, Museum of War Remnants and Cu Chi tunnel
Today we have full day to explore the highlights of Saigon including Notre Dame Cathedral, the General Post Office, the Formal Presidential Palace and the Museum of War Remnants. After lunch we will head to the legendary Cu Chi tunnel. We will stay overnight at the hotel in Saigon.
Day 4: Saigon – Da Nang – Hoi An (B)
Transfer via: Vietnam Airline
Accommodations: Palm Garden Resort
Sites visited: Cham Museum, Marble Mountain, My Khe Beach, Hoi An Ancient Town We take the morning flight to Da Nang then visit the Cham Museum in Da Nang, where there is a display of fine artifacts of the Cham people. We then visit “My Khe beach” and a marble crafting village. Later we will explore the charming little township of Hoi An with its old houses and temples. We will stay overnight at a hotel in Hoi An.
Day 5: Hoi An (B)
Accommodations: Palm Garden Resort
In the morning we can enjoy the walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the Old town, visit Fu Kien assembly hall, the 200 year old Tan Ky house, the Japanese cover bridge, Hoi An Museum, and the handcraft workshops.
Day 6: Hoi An – Hue – City in the afternoon (B, L)
Accommodations: La Residence Hotel & Spa
Sites visited: Hai Van Pass, Forbidden Purple City and Dong Ba market
We embark on a Northern bound journey to Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam. On the way we stop on the spectacular Hai Van Pass. The journey takes about 5 hours. In the afternoon we will have our first glimpse of Hue to visit the Forbidden Purple City and Dong Ba market. Tonight we will join the Traditional Music show in the boat on the Perfume River. Overnight stay at a hotel in Hue
Day 7: Hue – Boat trip along Perfume River (B)
Accommodations: La Residence Hotel & Spa
Sites visited: Perfume River, Thien Mu Pagoda, Minh Mang tomb
Today we will take a boat cruise on the Perfume River to visit the picturesque Thien Mu, or Heavenly Lady Pagoda. Also worth visiting are the tombs of the former Emperors Minh Mang. We will be free to enjoy our leisure in the afternoon.
Day 8: Hue transfer to Da Nang – Hanoi (B)
Transfer via: Vietnam airlines
Accommodations: Sofitel Legend Metropole hotel
In the morning we will transfer to Da Nang airport via Hai Van tunnel to take a flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival in Hanoi you will be transfer to our hotel. In the afternoon we will take a cyclo tour to visit Hanoi’s Old Quarter & French Quarter and in the evening we can enjoy the unique Water puppet show.
Notes: from 1st April 2013 Hue airport will be under re-construction and there won’t be any flight from Hue airport.
Day 9: Hanoi City tour (B, L)
Sites visited: Ho Chi Minh Complex, Temple of literature, Museum of Ethnology and Hanoi’s Old Quarter
Accommodations: Sofitel Legend Metropole hotel
In the morning we will be transferred to our hotel.
We take the City tour after that to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum which includes is Mausoleum, the Presidential palace, is House on stilts and the One Pillar pagoda. Then we visit the Temple of literature. After lunch we visit the impressive Museum of Ethnology, the finest museum in Vietnam. We follow this with a walking tour of Hanoi’s vibrant Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake. We will stay overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 10: Hanoi – Ha Long bay (B, L, D)
Accommodations: Paradise Luxury Cruise
Sites visited: Halong Bay, Fishing Village
We will be picked up from our appointed hotel in Hanoi from 7:45 to 8 o’clock in the morning. Then we depart Hanoi for Halong Bay, along the way we will have a coffee break at a humanity center. Arrival Tuan Chau private wharf at noontime (11:45), we transfer to our Luxury Paradise Cruise. On the cruise we will have a welcome cocktail and having a briefing, safety instructions then check in our luxury cabins.
We then set sail and to explore Halong Bay. Our Asian Buffet lunch will be severed from 13.00 – 14.30 as the vessel sails to Halong Bay passing numerous of limestone islands and islets like: the Cocks fighting islets, the Elephant leg islet, the Castle islet…and the TITOP Island.
At around 14.30 we arrive at Luon Cave (Hallow cave). We will have chance to explore most famous grotto in the entire Halong Bay by local rowing boat or we can enjoy kayaking activities ( If weather permitted) or Discover the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay, the Surprising Cave.
After the excursion at 15.30 we transfer back to cruise ship and continue cruising through the bay.
At 16.30 we arrive at Fairy Male cave and visit the Cua Van Floating Village – experience the daily life of local people – Optional: kayaking
At 17.15 we keep on to cruise to explore Halong Bay.
17.30 Enjoy the open-air cooking demonstration on the sundeck (weather permitting) and discover the secrets of the Vietnamese cuisine.
At 18.00 we arrive at Pearl farm area where once again we have chance to do swimming or kayaking, then anchor for stay overnight.
At dawn we can enjoy the open-air cocktail bar located on the sundeck then savor a delicious five course Set-dinner will be severed at 7:00 PM From 21.00 to 23.00 Happy Hour and Music on the open-air sundeck bar – Enjoy ‘Buy One – Get Two Drinks’.
21.00 night activities including: enjoy Movie Night, Board Games or Beauty Spa services, relax at leisure
Day 11: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi (B)
Accommodation: Sofitel Legend Metropole hotel
Sites Visited: Lime stone caves in Halong Bay
Sunrise on this seclude Bay will be a wonderful experience; we then have chance for a Tai Chi Lesson at 06:45 on the sundeck. We then can enjoy our Continental Buffet Breakfast from 07.00 – 09.00.
During breakfast, the cruise keeps moving to explore other area in Halong Bay. At around 07.45 we arrive at Ti Top Island where we can enjoy the Ti Top Beach or get up to the top of the island for a fabulous bird eyes view of Halong Bay. We have option of : swimming or kayaking activities (subject to weather permission).
At 08.30, we depart Ti Top Island to continue cruise through Halong Bay. We check out our cabin at 09.30 & our settle bills – Luggage collection. At 10.30, we will disembark the Warf at Tuan Chau Island. We will be transfer from the Cruise. We then transfer to our vehicles to go back to Hanoi.
Day 12: Hanoi departure (B)
Transfer via: International flight at our own arrangement
Transfer to airport for our departure flight home.
